Swim Stage 3

Swim Stage 3 develops greater independence and control in the water. Swimmers practise submerging confidently, maintaining a streamlined position, and combining gliding with rotation between front and back. Key skills include swimming 10 metres on both front and back, performing tuck floats, retrieving objects from underwater, and answering questions on the Water Safety Code. Learners also practise safe, unaided exits from the pool without using steps.
