Swim Stage 2

Swim Stage 2 builds on fundamental aquatic skills, focusing on independent movement and water confidence. Learners practise safe entries, including jumping in, and begin to control breathing by blowing bubbles underwater. They develop independence in floating, gliding, and using recognised leg actions on both the front and back over short distances. Rotational skills are introduced through tuck rotations and log rolls, and swimmers are expected to exit the water without assistance.
