The STA Level 2 Swimming Teacher Qualification is the new, combined qualification that replaces the previous STA Award and Certificate. It’s the first and only course you’ll need to become a fully qualified STA Swimming Teacher.
This course provides a complete introduction to teaching swimming — covering the essential theory, practical teaching skills, lesson planning, and water safety knowledge required to deliver fun, safe, and effective lessons. It is fully assessed and accredited by the Swimming Teachers’ Association (STA).
