World of Swimming is looking for an enthusiastic, qualified Level 2 swimming instructor to join our friendly team at World of Swimming at Godolphins - Monday 9.30am-12.00pm & at Farleigh Andover - Thursday 12.15pm - 13.15pm
Role Overview
At World of Swimming, our mission is simple: to teach the world to swim. We teach over 2,000 swimmers every week across our pools located in Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and Oxfordshire, supported by a team of over 100 friendly, passionate instructors. Our values, Safe, Fun, Progress, guide everything we do, ensuring each swimmer learns with confidence and enjoyment.
Role Overview
Following the Swim England framework, you’ll deliver high-quality lessons to children and adults, helping every swimmer feel confident, safe, and supported
What We’re Looking For
- Baby & Preschool Qualification
- ASA Level 2 / STA Award and Certificate Swimming Instructor Qualification (or international equivalent) ( Bonus)
- Confident communication skills and a professional, friendly approach
- Strong swimming ability and up-to-date knowledge of teaching techniques
- A lifesaving qualification (preferred, but training can be provided)
- Passion for working with small groups of children and helping them progress
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, fun, and progressive swimming lessons, from beginners to competitive levels
- Create engaging, structured classes following the Swim England framework
- Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring each swimmer and family feels welcome and supported
- Monitor and record swimmer attendance and weekly progress using Soakly
- Act as a positive ambassador for World of Swimming, upholding our values and teaching standards
What We Offer:
- Competitive pay: £15 per hour + 5.6 weeks of holiday pay for STA Award Teachers and Swim England Level 1 qualified teachers or £21 per hour + 5.6 weeks holiday pay for STA Certificate and Swim England qualified teachers
